Practical Use Case
MRS (Mine Recovery System) Collapsible Hangers were developed to help miners recover cable from areas that are no longer safe to enter. During cable recovery, tension applied to the cable causes the lower carriers to collapse, allowing the cable to drop to the mine floor where it can be pulled from a safer location without requiring personnel to enter unsupported roof areas.
